My works are created from episodes that are close to my personal life, but for this online residency, I will attempt to create from episodes through the perspectives of the people of Tainan. I would like to know about the scenery that people living in Tainan see on a daily basis, personal habits that have become routine, trivial culture that has permeated the region and society, and other familiar information that is not discussed in tourist maps. For example, in my life, I have a habit of drying tea packets after making tea, and also fighting for electrical outlets while working remotely.
What we would like to ask for:
For my online residency project, I would like to work with drawing a portrait of your usual day, something personal. “The usual day” means, for example, what is always on a table at your room, food you often eat and your favorite scene etc.
I would appreciate it if you could take a picture with your smartphone and send it to me with your comments. (Comments: why you took the scene, what caught your attention about the scene, etc.)
I hope that the photos will be emerged something without a thought through your usual day.
I look forward to the cooperation of many of you!
