Two art groups from Thailand, Baan Noorg Collaborative Arts&Culturere and Art Terminal Exchange, visited Absolute Space on July 6th and exchanged ideas with two other local art spaces in Tainan: Seahorse Echo Gallery and Caocheng Art & Culture Studio.
Collaborative Art&Culture recently initiated the NPKD-Social Enterprise program, where they held animation workshops for children to present community stories with animation, while Art Terminal Exchange conducted graffiti art in the community to spray-paint each community's artwork. The Thai name, as well as the history of the artists' works and the space, is helpful in creating a sense of community among the villagers.
In addition to the dialogue and exchange with the space, they also visited the nearby Jeon Mei Theater, Big Tin Hau Palace, New Mei Street, Snail Lane Social Construction Project, and Shennong Street.
