About the Residency ExhibitionThis Artist in residence, I went looking for sculptures and monuments in nature.I researched stone monuments that are connected to nature or real stone, bronze statues that have disappeared and returned, places where only the base remains without the statue, monuments whose names have been changed. The history between Japan and Taiwan is deep, and some things remain, some do not, and I was able to see all these different realities only now. The "Sock Monkey," which can go on a journey with used socks, is my sculptural and monumental work. Why not take this exhibition as an opportunity to go on a monument journey with Sockmonkeys?
