Sometimes I am not sure whether I have been in one place or if I haven’t. Flashes of blurry images cross my mind, some of which feel very familiar although I know I haven’t really been there. Some other times, while being completely aware of my context or situation, I feel alienated. Such kind of thoughts have made me reflect on the relation of being “completely involved” and “physically present”. Does “being physically present” means to be wholeheartedly present? All these questions have influenced my art artwork, so I try to go back to my beginning, to understand how it is all started.
