This exhibition attempts to trace past trajectories through the materiality of sculpture and daily life, using these as clues to envision a coming future. By extrapolating from minute details toward the far reaches of spatial and temporal axes, the works also resonate with the exhibition venue’s layout, which is divided into distinct front and rear sections.

They reveal a sense of resilience through rigid, brittle textures—finding the potential for reconfiguration and bonding amidst fragmentation within the seemingly finite physical properties of metal, stone, wood, and resin. Their static, crouching postures—reminiscent of objects standing guard—reflect the traces of the passage of time, seeking the eternal within the realm of everyday observation and imagination.
