Plan.1
I am interested in the advanced and sustainable philosophy of the textile industry in Tainan, where new materials are developed from discarded materials (fish scales) from living organisms.
My sculpture with thread initially started with silk thread. Silk is a fiber produced by living organisms, and the textile industry was a major industry for Japan in the Meiji era as it was modernizing. I believe that fiber is more than just one material, but has a significant role to play for the country, the region, and in relations with other regions.
With the distinctive fibers produced in Tainan, I hope to bring forth sculptures created by gravity, the natural order of things.
First of all, we hope that you will send us fiber samples of UMORFIL so that I can experience its texture.

Plan.2
I am also interested in everyday life in Tainan.
Moments of thinking about family, friends, and loved ones in everyday life are hidden in every scene.
I explore and feel those scenes and turn them into sculptural works.
This body of work may seem concrete, but it will have a universality that many people can share.
I believe that I can prove that the scenes of daily life in Hokkaido and Tainan are companions who can share the same image.
Please photograph and send me scenes of everyday life that are typical of Tainan.

Plan.3
I am also interested in old tools in Tainan.
Tools used in daily life are full of wisdom and creativity in daily life, and are filled with history and thought.
I observe, feel, and imitate these tools to create sculptural works. This body of work reveals human creativity that we usually take for granted and forget.
Please send me any old tools that you use or used to use in Tainan.
Tools made of traditional materials such as wood, bamboo, stone, and iron are preferred wheneverpossible.
